Megmeister Partners With APB Junior Development Team
0 Min ReadMegmeister is delighted to have been appointed the official technical cycling base layer partner to the APB Junior Women Development Team which is a new, all girls Dutch cycling team who will commence competing on the international circuit in January 2018.
The new APB Junior Women Development Team consists of 6 racers: : Rozemarijn Ammerlaan, Cathalijne Hoolwerf, Britt Knaven, Sylvie Swinkels, Ingrit Verhoeff and Rosalie van der Wolf.
The slogan of the team is “Unlock your potential”.
The team has been set up by Servais Knaven who will be the team’s manager. Servais Knaven is a former dutch professional road bicycle racer who is currently a ‘Directeur Sportif’ for Team Sky and calls the shots from the team car.
Servais rode in the Barcelona 1992 and Athens 2004 Olympics. Amongst many successes in his illustrious racing career he won the Paris Roubaix in 2001 and is the 2nd rider in history to start and finish the ‘Hell of the North’ 16 times. In the Tour de France of 2003 whilst riding for the Quick-Step-Davitamon Team he won stage 17 from Dax to Bordeaux.
